Man Robs Spy Insurance, Sought By Gwinnett Police

The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying a man who, they say, robbed a Norcross insurance company, Aug 6.

NORCROSS, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying a man who, they say, robbed a Norcross insurance company, Aug 6.

At around 6:15 p.m., a man wearing a red shirt and black hat entered the Spy Insurance at 4782 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross, where a woman employee was inside the business talking on the phone. As the man walked inside, he grabbed the woman, pushed her up against the wall, and tried to grab her phone. The woman was yelling into her phone for the person on the other end to call 911.

The man eventually obtained her phone and dropped it on the floor. Before fleeing out the front door, he grabbed some cash that was lying on the desk.

The man is described as light-skinned, 5 feet 11 inches, 200 pounds, muscular build, short hair, wearing a red shirt, light blue jeans and a black Champion baseball cap.
