Norcross nonprofits receive donations at TCC store grand opening
Community members cast their votes and the new TCC store in Norcross made donations at their grand opening event on Sept. 13
NORCROSS, Ga. (Sept. 28, 2018) – Round Room LLC, the nation’s largest Verizon Authorized Wireless Retailer, announces today that its new TCC store located at 7859 S.W. Highway 200, Suite 103 donated $3,000 to three local nonprofits in Norcross: Autism Speaks, Barktown Dog Rescue & Sanctuary, and Junior Achievement of Georgia.
In celebration of TCC’s grand opening in Norcross, members of the community were asked to vote for one of three selected local nonprofits to receive the monetary donations. The winning organization, Barktown Dog Rescue & Sanctuary, received $2,000 during a ribbon cutting ceremony at TCC’s grand opening event on Sept. 13. The two runners-up, Autism Speaks and Junior Achievement of Georgia, received $500 each.
“With this new partnership, Barktown Dog Rescue will be able to better serve the community and help TCC continue to build a Culture of Good in Norcross,” said Scott Moorehead, CEO of Round Room, parent company of TCC. “We want to thank all of the Norcross residents who voted to support these organizations in their community.”

TCC makes ongoing investments in the local communities where it operates through its Culture of Good movement. Earlier this year, the company donated more than 187,000 backpacks with school supplies at TCC and Wireless Zone stores across the country, supply packs to more than 5,000 teachers across the country and 3,000 care kits to senior living communities. In 2017, the company donated 172,000 backpacks with school supplies to children; 3,000 care kits to senior living communities; and supply packs to more than 5,600 teachers and 2,500 veterans across the U.S.
