MARTA to Host Open House on Clifton Corridor Transit Initiative
The transit authority says it wants to work with the community to improve the congested traffic area.
Just got this statement from MARTA. They're going to hold an open house next Thursday, May 19, to discuss improving mobility in the Clifton Corridor, an circular area that includes most if not all of Toco Hill and North Druid Hills. The meeting is going to be at the Emory University Conference Center Hotel.
Here's the full statement:
On Thursday, May 19, 2011, MARTA will host an Open House from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Emory University Conference Center to discuss improving mobility in the heavily traveled Clifton Corridor in DeKalb County - home to Emory University, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the VA Hospital, Emory Healthcare, and the DeKalb Medical Center. In coordination with the Clifton Corridor Transportation Management Association, MARTA is working with the community to identify the best transit options to improve traffic congestion and quality of life for those living and working in this area.
