Key to Awesomeness: From Emily Coulter at Sophia Academy: "The Georgia Commission on the Holocaust has recently awarded Sophia Academy seventh-grader Adam Russell third place in the state of Georgia, Middle School Division, for his essay entitled 'What are the Lessons of the Holocaust?' On Friday, Adam will attend a ceremony at the state capitol with his parents and English teacher, George Bevington. Adam will meet Gov. Nathan Deal, the speaker of the House, various Holocaust scholars and several Holocaust survivors when he accepts his award. Adam is a star student, excelling in academics, theatre, and athletics and he spends his free time doing community service and Boy Scouts. His character is exemplary, as he acts with integrity and excellence, serving as a role model and leader among his peers."
