• Suspect Killed In Gwinnett Police Shooting ID'ed (patch.com) — Residents of Peachtree Corners are learning more about a late-night police shooting after authorities identified 39-year-old Brent Elvin Ivy of Dacula as the man killed. Investigators say Ivy rammed a Gwinnett patrol car, led officers on a chase through Peachtree Corners, then allegedly pulled and pointed a handgun before officers fired, leaving him dead at the scene. No officers were injured, and an autopsy is planned at the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office.
