Here are the top stories in Sandy Springs today:
- Dozens of community members gathered at City Hall on May 10 to voice their opinions for the City Springs Master Plan. Residents marked various maps and pasteboards with ideas that they would like to see in future developments and projects. Specific emphasis was placed on the presence of homes and condos vs. apartments, and infrastructural solutions such as traffic light timing, adding trees, and repairing runoff water problems. - The Outdoor Summer Concert Series has returned to City Springs. Members can enjoy a pre-show beverage at City Hall before attending one of the many exciting upcoming shows. The concert will run through the summer and will feature fabulous talent. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Atlanta Beltline revealed the potential route that it could take to traverse northwest Atlanta and proceed into Buckhead. The complicated segment will eventually complete the loop around the city. The most up-to-date plan is believed to display the most feasible route to complete the project.
