The police were called to the MicroSeconds store on Roswell Road, recently. The officer met a store employee and a man who said he was the victim of a car break-in, back in December, in midtown Atlanta.

They told the cop that on Aug. 1 a man came into the store and wanted to sell a Dell laptop. He added that he had other items to sell such as a GPS and iPhones.

The employee said he needed to do a diagnostic on the computer and would let the seller know within a couple of days, if he was interested. The seller gave his name and phone number as well as address to the employee and left in a Mitsubishi Galant that was also occupied by two women.

Afterwards, the employee found that the computer had some personal work information and that the serial number had been scraped off. He was able to locate the owner, the man whose car had been broken into in midtown.

He called the man and they called the cops.

They arranged for the employee to contact the now suspect and arrange a meeting.

The suspect returned and was detained by police. In his possession were other electronics such as a couple of GPS units, upscale headphones, and other items that were determined to have been stolen. The suspect looks good as a suspect in thefts from cars and perhaps more.
