- The City of Sandy Springs received a $200,000 grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission for the Peachtree Dunwoody Road Corridor Study. The study aims to identify areas for placemaking improvements in line with the Perimeter Center LCI and Perimeter Small Area Plan's vision for Sandy Springs. - Nicole Gray, an ESOL teacher at Lake Forest Elementary in Fulton County, is hosting a fundraiser to send her students to specialized summer camps. Lion Pride, the fundraising initiative, partners with local businesses to make the camps accessible for families without means of transportation. - Fulton County Probate Court is collaborating with the Gate City Bar Association to hold a free Community Law Clinic in Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta on May 20, offering consultations in the areas of criminal and family law, probate estate planning, personal injury, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and tenant rights. This year marks the first time that probate services will be included in the clinic in the past 12 years. The Gate City Bar Association's mission is to provide educational, social, and community involvement to black lawyers and their clients. (News-Daily.com)
