On Aug. 11, the district updated its mask policy for students, staff and visitors.

All cities within the Fulton County Schools jurisdiction are now above 100 per 100,000 positive COVID-19 cases. According to the new data, all cities are being identified as high community spread by public health officials. The requirement to wear a mask indoors was extended to all schools, which began on Aug. 12.

Since then, several grade levels at various Fulton schools have been required to shift to remote learning due to an increase of cases.
