  1. It is currently unclear which voting requirement Herschel Walker met in 2021 to register to vote in Fulton County. The county's election officials were not able to point to which state rule was used to determine his eligibility to run for office or vote. Walker is currently running to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate. He claimed a tax exemption on a Texas home. (11 Alive)
  2. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is reportedly cracking down on gang-related violence. The reaction is in response to a weekend gang-related shooting that claimed the life of a 12-year-old child on the 17th Street bridge. Her focus is on gang recruiting of county children. According to Willis, children as young as toddler age are being recruited for gang activity. (WSBTV)
  3. The Fulton County Board of Health will be receiving $10.5 million to address public health issues and infrastructure. The funding is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through a recently announced $3.2 billion program. The funds will be given over the next five years. (Subscription: AJC.com)
