  1. The Metro Atlanta Mayors Association Executive Committee selected Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul as vice-chair of the organization, serving under Union City Mayor Vince Williams.   2. The parents of a 13-year-old girl who was raped in 2020 by a Fulton County school science teacher claim the administrators knew he was engaging in predatory behavior. The behavior, they noted, dated back to as early as 2019. The parents allege the school did nothing to stop it, according to a recently-filed federal lawsuit.   3. Compared to a week ago, Georgia's gas prices have decreased, according to AAA.
    The average price of gas for Georgia drivers is now $3.22 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. The state average is 4 cents less than a week ago. (WSB Atlanta)
