"I'm excited about this opportunity, particularly as we have a very busy year-long celebration marking our 20th anniversary, we have our signature annual gala the Pink Affair in March, as well as the continued ramp-up of operations with our new satellite clinic in downtown Atlanta," said Rusco. "We provide breast cancer patients of all backgrounds in metro Atlanta, the state of Georgia, and beyond with essential services under one roof, so that is something our patients find invaluable in their respective journeys to feeling better faster, returning to activities enjoyed prior to their breast cancer diagnosis, subsequent treatments and surgeries, and ultimately becoming cancer free."
TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, founded in 2003, improves the quality of life for individuals, including men, impacted by breast cancer by providing and advocating for specialized, evidence-based rehabilitation while reducing socioeconomic, racial, cultural, and geographic barriers to care. Core survivorship services include physical therapy, massage therapy, emotional support, nutritional counseling, exercise classes, and educational programs. TurningPoint operates two clinics in Sandy Springs and downtown Atlanta, respectively, and also offers a comprehensive tele-rehabilitation program. The organization has served more than 40,000 patient visits over the last two decades. For more information, visit www.myturningpoint.org or call 770-360-9271.
