Phew, only traces of snow linger across Sandy Springs this morning.
Unlike January’s wintry mix which closed schools for a week, motorists are not hampered this morning by snowy roads. Streets may be slippery, however, as the temperature remains just above freezing.
The Sandy Springs Emergency Operations Center opened before midnight. Trucks pretreated bridges and overpasses with sand and salt.
