Peachtree Dunwoody To Briefly Close For Construction: Sandy Springs PD
Traffic is being rerouted Thursday night into Friday morning.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The temporary closure of Peachtree Dunwoody Road begins at 9 p.m. Thursday and will last until 5 a.m. Friday, according to Sandy Springs Police.
Police said the closure is due to construction work taking place on the Interstate 285 bridge stretching over Peachtree Dunwoody.
Drivers heading north on Peachtree Dunwoody wanting to access I-285 eastbound and westbound are being rerouted to Lake Hearn Drive and Ashford Dunwoody Road. Lake Hearn turns into Perimeter Summit Parkway, police said.

People going south on Peachtree Dunwoody can access I-285 east and west by using Hammond Drive and Ashford Dunwoody, police said.
Drivers exiting I-285 west to Peachtree Dunwoody south are being rerouted to Hammond, Perimeter Center Parkway and Lake Hearn to access Peachtree Dunwoody, police said.

People heading north on Peachtree Dunwoody and wanting to remain on the road can use Lake Hearn, Perimeter Center and Hammond, police said.
Drivers going south on Peachtree Dunwoody and wanting to stay on the road can use Hammond, Perimeter Center to Lake Hearn, police said.
