The Mount Vernon School's chief financial officer was initially arrested in April on child sex crime charges.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The former chief financial officer at The Mount Vernon School, who is facing child sex crime charges, was arrested for a second time Tuesday after authorities accused him of making false statements during a police interview, 11Alive reported Thursday.

Sandy Springs Police said in the past Christopher James Winslow was first arrested on April 27. Police did not say what led to the charges but accused Winslow of possessing child sexual abuse material.

"He was rearrested after our investigation showed that he possessed more images than we were originally aware of. None of the images that were found were of children associated with the Mount Vernon School. Our investigation continues," police told Patch Thursday.
