Sandy Springs Accused Shooter Charged With Murder

The deadly shooting happened Saturday at a Northwood Drive nightclub.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A 23-year-old man is facing charges after Sandy Springs Police said he shot and killed someone around 1:15 a.m. Saturday at a Northwood Drive nightclub.

Police said Zerrick Wilson was taken into custody Saturday night in connection with the fatal shooting. Police did not identify the person who died in the shooting.

It is unknown what led to the shooting. Wilson was arrested shortly after a be-on-the-lookout alert was issued for Wilson. It has since been canceled following his arrest.

Wilson was charged on suspicion of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, police told Patch.
