- A man was shot in a violent home invasion early on Monday morning. The victim was at his residence at the Townes at Chastain on Roswell Road when multiple suspects broke in. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition, while the suspects remain unidentified. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- An attorney on Donald Trump's legal team has been ordered to testify in the Fulton County special grand jury probe of the 2020 presidential election. The order labels Kenneth Chesebro as a "necessary and material" witness. The focus lies on his alleged role in procuring "alternate" electors in an attempt to provide illegitimate electoral votes. - Vidalia onions throughout metro Atlanta are being recalled from Publix supermarkets out of concern for listeria. Lyons, Georgia, based A&M Farms detected listeria in one of its batches, and believes that most of the contaminated produce never made it to the shelves. The recalled onions would have been purchased between June 22 and 24. (WSB Atlanta)
