Young To Give 'Fireside Chat' At Sandy Springs Chamber Luncheon

Former Atlanta mayor, Ambassador Andrew Young will be the keynote speaker at the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber monthly Signature Luncheon.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA – In honor of Black History Month, Ambassador Andrew Young will be the keynote speaker for the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber’s monthly Signature Luncheon.

The Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City Sandy Springs center.

Young, who served as Ambassador to the United Nations under President Jimmy Carter and as a two-term mayor of Atlanta, will give a sort of “fireside chat,” chamber spokeswoman Lena Liebrecht said.

Dontá Wilson, the chief digital and client experience officer for the Luncheon sponsor Truist, will serve as moderator for the event and will guide the discussion with Young.

“We are expecting this to be one of our best ones,” Liebrecht said.

Registration is open now for the Signature Luncheon through Friday, and admission is $40 for chamber members and $45 for non-chamber members. Tables of eight are available for $320.
