The Cobb County Department of Public Safety is announcing its fall session of the Citizens Public Safety Academy.
This program provides an opportunity for Cobb County citizens to have an inside look at the various units which comprise the Cobb County Department of Public Safety. During the course, participants will experience the Emergency Communications Center, Fire, and Police organizations, and the role each plays in protecting the citizens of Cobb County.
There is no charge for the 13-week program, which is scheduled twice a year. Classes are held every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the location changes from week-to-week depending on what is being discussed or introduced to the class participants.
