Meet a local realtor who knows the numbers — backwards and forwards.

Imagine you had a realtor who could help you really understand the economics behind the biggest financial decision of your life.

That realtor would probably have an MBA in Finance, and years of experience working for large corporations that apply financial rigor to every decision. Ideally, she’d also have expertise in negotiating big, high-stakes contracts — to help you get to a successful close.

Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:

  1. In an accident Monday afternoon at about 3:00 p.m., one unidentified person was killed. The crash happened at the intersection of Windy Hill and US Hwy 41, in Smyrna. The road was closed after the incident but has now been reopened. Smyrna Police say that no further information is available at this time. (Atlanta First News)
  2. Fulton County will manage its own elections. The State Election Board has determined that improvements made to the voting system in Fulton County are sufficient to stop a potential state takeover in 2024. 3. The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) has introduced a new Mental Health Mobile Unit to raise awareness about mental health and challenge stigmas related to mental illness. With the help of a $3.9 million grant from the US Department of Health & Human Services, the state-of-the-art vehicle offers private consultation rooms, telehealth services, monitors, a television, a restroom, and wheelchair accessibility. Starting in June, the mobile unit will visit various locations in Fulton County, aiming to improve access to behavioral health services and educate minority and underserved communities about available resources.
