SMYRNA, GA — Northside Hospital is opening a new medical center in the Cumberland area, bringing more health care to more than 230,000 area residents — and the hospital system broke ground on the new facility last week.

Located at Cumberland Parkway and Atlanta Road in Smyrna, the building will span 60,000 square feet across three stories, and is expected to open in January 2023. The facility will offer a variety of outpatient medical services and an array of physician practices, representing numerous medical specialities including imaging, primary care, surgery center and others.

“This beautiful facility will be an anchor for Northside in a rapidly growing and diversifying area,” said Lee Echols, vice president of marketing and communications for Northside Hospital. “Northside Medical Cumberland should be a welcome addition to communities like Vinings, Smyrna and the West Cobb region, bringing improved access to health care for all those areas.”
