Here are the top three stories in Smyrna-Vinings today:
- A Target facility in Smyrna is piloting next-day shipping using Shipt's delivery service. According to Target, more than 96 percent of the store's online orders are fulfilled in stores, and recently the company invested $100 million to build up its supply chain network in the next three years. The new Smyrna Target facility will bring next-day delivery to more than 500,000 customers. (Convenience)
- One knock is all it took for this Smyrna couple to fall in love. After a whirlwind romance that lasted a few years, the couple finally said their "I Do's" during a destination wedding in Punta Cana. Nearly a decade later, the duo became a threesome as they welcomed their new baby girl into the world. (The New York Times)
- A shooting in Cobb County left one man dead and another injured. When the Cobb County Police Department arrived on the scene in nearby Mableton, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. After transporting both victims to local hospitals — where one passed away — police continued investigating the area. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
