• 22-year-old man shot by DeKalb County police during late-night encounter (fox5atlanta.com) — A 22-year-old man was shot and wounded by a DeKalb County police officer late Sunday at the East Ponce Village Apartments on Wood Bend Drive near Stone Mountain. Investigators say officers responding to a domestic disturbance found the man near a gun, ordered him away from it, and fired when he allegedly didn’t comply. The man is hospitalized in stable condition as GBI and internal investigations continue.
