Stone Mountain Man Barricaded Self In Attic In Try To Avoid Arrest
A man faces aggravated assault charges related to incidents against a domestic partner, DeKalb authorities said.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A 33-year-old man who was arrested on charges of false imprisonment and aggravated assault Friday tried to avoid being placed in police custody by barricading himself in an attic, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said.
Kyle Diavonte McKoy was arrested at a Scotland Drive home in Stone Mountain in connection with unknown incidents against a domestic partner on Sept. 4, authorities said.
McKoy was arrested on charges of aggravated assault-family violence, false imprisonment and theft by taking, authorities said. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail after trying to hide in an attic, authorities said.
