1 Dead, 1 Injured In Clarkston Shooting: Police

CLARKSTON, GA — A man is dead and another is injured after a shooting Wednesday morning in the 1300 block of Brockett Road, Clarkston Police said.

The man who died has not been identified.

Police said the shooting happened around 4 a.m. Police said when officers arrived, they were approached by a 41-year-old man who had been shot in the leg.

Officers then found a 37-year-old man in a parked car with a gunshot wound in his chest, police said.

Authorities performed CPR on both men, but the 37-year-old died at the scene, police said. The second man was taken to a local hospital.

Details of possible suspects were not released.

The case is being investigated by Clarkston Police.
