All Clear Given After Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation At Chamblee Lofts

A possible suspect was identified during the Thursday probe at Peachtree Road, police said.

CHAMBLEE — An all clear is given after a bomb threat Thursday morning prompted the evacuation of lofts above a Peachtree Road pizzeria, Chamblee Police said on Facebook.

Police said shortly around 1 p.m. that no evidence of a bomb was found on the property.

Police added a possible suspect has been identified, though not publicly, and said they are continuing to investigate the threat that was called in around 10:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of Peachtree.

Operations at Chamblee City Hall and nearby businesses are being conducted as normal, police said.
