Girl Who Died In Tucker Hotel Pool Identified: Report
The girl drowned Wednesday at a Crescent Centre Boulevard hotel.
TUCKER, GA — The 12-year-old girl who drowned at a hotel pool last week was identified by family as Ja-Niyah Likely, Channel 2 Action News reported Monday.
Officers said the drowning occurred around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Crescent Centre Boulevard. The young girl died at the hospital of her injuries. Police have not said how the drowning happened.
Funeral plans for Likely have not been completed, the outlet reported.
