OneDeKalb to Host Resource Center Ribbon Cutting at Northlake Mall

The DeKalb County Office of Neighborhood Empowerment (OneDeKalb) will host a for the OneDeKalb Neighborhood Resource Center as part of county’s celebration of National County Government Month at on Saturday, April 9, at 12:30pm.

The neighborhood resource center is designed as a service center for information on and assistance with county services, and provides informational pamphlets, brochures and educational literature to the public. The center is a partnership between the county and Simon Property Group and features a community room that is available for meetings. County and community groups began holding meetings at the center last month.

Since its inception in 2010, OneDeKalb continues to give residents a voice in county government and provides neighborhoods with training, tools and resources for effective community engagement.
