Pregnant Clarkston Woman Who Was Shot Dies

CLARKSTON, GA — A pregnant woman who was recently shot in the 6600 block of Old Singleton Lane has died, DeKalb County Police told Patch Tuesday.

Police said her newborn baby is in critical condition.

The woman has not been identified.

The shooting took place around 5:45 a.m., Feb. 2, when officers found the woman at the scene with a gunshot wound, police said.

The woman was pregnant at the time of the shooting, and doctors took over her care once she arrived at the hospital, police said.

Details of a suspect are not known.
