Suspect Accused Of Shooting Chamblee Officer Charged: Police

The officer was in stable condition Tuesday.

CHAMBLEE, GA — DeKalb County police said they have charged a suspect accused of shooting a Chamblee police officer Tuesday.

Oscar Arreola, 31, is charged on suspicion of aggravated assault on a police officer, police said.

The officer police say was shot shortly after midnight near Briarcliff Road and Briarcliff Way was in stable condition as of early Tuesday, according to media reports.
