Community Cleanup Day Set For Oct. 5 In Lisle
Residents in Lisle can purge their homes of unwanted household items during Community Cleanup Day.
LISLE, IL — Lisle residents can unload unlimited household items during Community Cleanup Day, which is slated for Oct. 5.
Items should be placed at the curb by Saturday at 6 a.m. to ensure that Lakeshore Recycling Systems will collect them. Stickers must be affixed to the first five items, but additional items do not require stickers.
The following are ineligible for collection:

- Appliances
- Hazardous waste
- Railroad ties
- Construction materials
- Tires
- Yard waste
- Heavy items that will require special handling
