Free Summerfest Tickets Available At Lisle Blood Drive

Those who donate blood will get a code to redeem for general admission at Summerfest in Milwaukee.

LISLE, IL — Residents will have an opportunity to get free admission to Summerfest and help contribute to the area's ongoing need for blood donations during a blood drive event Aug. 22 at Lisle VFW Post 5696.

Versiti's mobile coach will be parked in the lot at 1209 Lisle Pl. from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome during the blood drive, but donors are encouraged to call 1-800-7TO-GIVE or click the link to make an appointment to donate blood.

Residents who received a coronavirus vaccine on or before Aug. 19 are eligible to donate blood, but a coronavirus vaccine is not required to make a blood donation.

Donors must bring photo identification. Masks are not required for donors who have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus.

Those who donate blood will get a code for free general admission to Summerfest, which runs Sept. 2 through 4, Sept. 9 through 11 and Sept. 16 through 18.
