Home Depot Employees and VFW Post Members to Complete Downtown Lisle Veterans Memorial

The Home Depot Foundation & the Downers Grove Home Depot approved a request for a grant to complete work on the new Downtown Lisle Veterans Memorial. On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Home Depot employees, members of the Lisle VFW Post 5696, and existing volunteers will install new flag poles, trees, bushes, sod, perennial flowers, and 4,000 brick pavers at 921 School St.

Any Lisle business wishing to donate coffee, food items, coupons, or gift cards for approximately 125 workers who will be donating their efforts that day would be greatly appreciated. To learn more, visit villageoflisle.org.
