League of Women Voters to Hold Candidate Forum Oct. 16
Ask the political candidates what they can do for you.

Voters are encouraged to bring their questions for the Republican and Democratic candidates to a free public Candidate Forum on October 16 at Glenbard South High School at 23 W. 200 Butterfield Road in Glen Ellyn.
The Candidates Forum is co-sponsored by the leagues of Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Palatine Area, Naperville, Elmhurst, Central Kane County, McHenry County, and Downers Grove, Woodridge and Lisle. The Candidate Forum is co-sponsored by eight local chapters of the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization which does not support or endorse candidates or political parties, but does encourage informed and active participation in government.

District 4 – Tim Elliott, R-Glen Ellyn, and Khizar Jafri, D-Wheaton
County Recorder – Moon Khan, D-Lombard, and Fred Bucholz, R-Wheaton, Incumbent
State General Assembly – 2:30 p.m.
48th House – Peter Breen, R-Lombard, Incumbent, and Steve Swanson, D-Lombard
23rd Senate – Tom Cullerton, D-Villa Park, Incumbent, and Seth Lewis, R-Bartlett
46th House – Heidi Holan, R-Glen Ellyn, will receive time to speak, though her opponent Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, Incumbent, has declined to attend
6th Congressional District
Amanda Howland, D-Lake Zurich, will speak and be available to voters, though her opponent Peter Roskam, R-Wheaton, Incumbent, has declined to attend the forum.
