Lisle Cops Urge Sober Driving For The "Big Game"

Lisle police will increase patrols to help keep the roads safe for the Big Game on Feb. 9.

LISLE, IL — Lisle police will increase patrols this weekend to coincide with the "big game." They recently released a statement urging drivers to stay sober and safe on the roadways.

"When you're making your plans to have a good time on Super Bowl Sunday, make sure they include a sober ride home," Sgt. William Wise said in the statement.

  • Find a sober driver
  • Take keys away from friends who are drunk or high
  • Wear your seatbelt
  • Report impaired drivers to local police

Wise added, "Even one drink can impair judgment. A designated driver can ensure you and your friends get home safely."

The NFL championship will be played on Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, with the Philadelphia Eagles facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
