Lisle Launches St. Patrick's Day Traffic Enforcement Campaign

St. Patrick's Day lands on a Monday this year, and Lisle police say they will be out in full force on the holiday and during the weekend.

LISLE, IL — As the green beer flows and St. Patrick's Day parties and events bring out revelers, the Lisle Police Department plans to be in full force to target drunk and impaired drivers.

“With St. Patrick’s Day falling on a Monday this year, we expect increased celebrations
throughout the weekend before the holiday,” Sergeant William Wise said in a statement.

Wise added, “We urge everyone to celebrate responsibly. Please plan ahead to arrange a sober ride home before you leave the house — your safety and the safety of others depends on it.”
