Lisle Man Charged In Sex Assault, Home Invasion In Oswego

LISLE, IL — A Lisle man was arrested Saturday in connection with a March home invasion and sexual assault that took place in Oswego.
Larry E. Foster, 31, of the 4600 block of Winward Court, was charged with criminal sexual assault and criminal trespass to a residence following an eight-month-long investigation by police.
Oswego police got a call around 10 p.m. on March 16 from a woman who reported an unknown man entered her residence in the 0-300 block of South Adams Street without permission and committed sexual assault. The woman said the man, later identified as Foster, left before officers got to the scene.

Detectives released surveillance video stills to the public in an effort to identify the man, but it was forensic evidence from the scene that helped reveal Foster's identity, according to a news release.

Officials later learned that Foster knew the woman.
The three felony charges against Foster were approved by the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office, and a judge issued a warrant on Nov. 22 for the Foster's arrest.

Oswego police apprehended him without incident at his Lisle home at 6:24 a.m. Nov. 23. He was booked at the Oswego Police Department and later taken to the Kendall County jail to await a pre-trial hearing that was scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday.
