Naperville Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child At Lisle Gym

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man faces felony charges after he was accused of sexually assaulting a child at a fitness center on Naperville Road in Lisle.

Aaron Williams, 32, of the 2200 block of Remington Drive, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault to a person younger than 13 in connection with the Feb. 1 incident.

The incident took place while Williams was conducting a personal training session designed for youth football and basketball players, according to a news release from the Lisle Police Department. Williams is not affiliated directly with the gym, police said.

After being notified, Lisle police worked with DuPage County Children's Center to interview the child and obtain a search warrant. The news release said evidence was discovered during the search, but did not offer additional information.

“I would like to thank Investigators from the DuPage County Children’s Center and
the Lisle Detectives for acting quickly to take this alleged predator off the street,”
Lisle Police Chief Kevin Licko said in a statement.

Williams was taken into custody Friday and is currently being held in DuPage County Jail on $50,000 bond. He is set to appear in court again March 3.
