Person Shot Early Wednesday In Lisle

Police say there appears to be no threat to the public after a person was shot early Wednesday.

LISLE, IL — A person was hospitalized after they were shot in the 1700 block of Robin Lane early Wednesday.

Lisle police were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. After they arrived, police were told the person who had been shot was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were being treated for injuries that were not thought to be life threatening.

Police say that in this stage of the ongoing investigation there is nothing to suggest there is a threat to the public. Anyone who has information about the shooting or who lives nearby and may have surveillance video is encouraged to contact the Lisle Police Department at 630-271-4200.
