Police Offer Active Shooter Response Training In Lisle
Police will help residents learn how to respond in the case of an active shooter incident.
LISLE, IL — Residents can attend a free training session in Lisle to learn emergency response techniques and best practices in the event of an active shooter situation. The session will be held Dec. 4 at Lisle Senior High School.
“Because active shooter situations are often over before law enforcement arrives on the scene,
individuals need to know what steps they can take to maximize their safety,” Lisle Police Chief Kevin Licko said in a statement.
He added, “It is unfortunate that we have to have this kind of training, but we want citizens to
be mentally and physically prepared if faced with this type of incident.”
