LISLE, IL — RUSH University plans to open a cancer treatment center in Lisle in a larger facility that will offer patients access to more advanced diagnostic technology and a wider array of treatments options.

The hospital system aims to open its new facility in a 55,000 square foot space located at 2455 Corporate West Dr. The comprehensive center would provide patients with access to:

  • Infusion therapy
  • Laboratory services
  • Pharmacy services
  • Radiation therapy
  • Supportive care
  • Urgent care

"RUSH exists to serve our community and we are deeply committed to extending our brand of excellence and highest quality care across Chicagoland and beyond,” RUSH's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Paul Casey said in a news release.

He added, "This certainly includes providing care in the Village of Lisle, as well as across Northwest Indiana. But it is also reflected many other ways. You see it in the lives we save. In our graduates who become practitioners. In labs where new knowledge is created. We believe the future of health care will be found in strong collaborations with referring physicians, new locations and innovative partnerships that make it convenient for people living and working in the region to receive the most coordinated, advanced health care available."

RUSH currently has a Cancer Care Center located at 430 Warrenville Rd. in Lisle. Currently, RUSH is awaiting approval from a request for a certificate for need for the Corporate West Drive location from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
