Veterans Day Ceremony Planned In Lisle

LISLE, IL — Residents can pay tribute to those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during a Veterans Day Ceremony set for Nov. 10 at The Museums at Lisle Station Park.

The ceremony will begin at the Lisle Veterans Memorial within the park at 11 a.m. Lisle Community Band will be on hand to play patriotic tunes, including a medley saluting each branch of military service. A color guard will perform a ceremonial posting of the colors.

A chaplain from DuPage A.M.E. Church will make an invocation and remarks will be made by local officials and members of the Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District and Lisle VFW Post #5696.
