2 New Takeout-And-Delivery Restaurants Coming To Palatine
The eateries will fill previously vacant spaces in 2 village shopping centers.

PALATINE, IL — Dining options continue to grow in Palatine as the Village Council gave the go-ahead for two new restaurants Tuesday. The proposed eateries — a pizza shop and an Indian restaurant — also fill shopping center storefronts that had previously been vacant.
Special-use permits were granted to J & J Pizza and Indi Fresh at the Village Council meeting Tuesday, Sept. 4, according to the Daily Herald. Both restaurants will offer only takeout and delivery, with no dine-in service, the report added.
Last month, five proposed Asian restaurants were recommended for special-use permits by the board of zoning appeals. Those potential new businesses still need final approval from the Village Council, and council members are expected to discuss the locations at their Sept. 17 meeting.
