Chase Bank Robbed Saturday on Golf Road

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — An armed man and woman robbed a Chase Bank near Golf and Barrington roads in Hoffman Estates Saturday afternoon. The robbery report was received at 1:19 p.m. The man reportedly had a gun in the waistband of his pants.

The bank robbers were described as:

• a black man, 5-foot, 8-inches tall, medium build, wearing a black cap with a white logo, a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes
• a black woman, 5-foot, 7-inches tall, thin, wearing a red T-shirt with white letters, red sweatpants, with her hair in a bun; she was carrying a white purse

The bank is at 2555 W. Golf Road. The suspects were seen walking near Golf Road and Moon Lake.
