Drunken Driving To Blame For 3-Vehicle Palatine Crash: Cops
Police say a drunken driver caused a three-car crash in Palatine over the weekend that led to three people being injured.

PALATINE, IL -- Police say a drunken driver caused a three-car crash in Palatine over the weekend that included two people being extricated from their vehicle and thereafter, hospitalized.
Elizabeth McKenna, 51, of the 5000 block of Princeton Lane in Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to a Daily Herald report.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday at Palatine and Roselle roads, where two westbound vehicles stopped for a red light and were struck from behind by McKenna.
