Man Arrested For Possessing Child Pornography: Palatine PD
A device was found with numerous files consistent with child sexual abuse material, some of which depicted victims under the age of 13.

PALATINE, IL — A Lake in the Hills man was arrested last week after police recovered a hard drive previously in his possession that contained numerous files consistent with child sexual abuse material, some of which depicted victims under the age of 13, according to police.
Konrad Skora, 31, of the 5500 block of Alexandria Drive, was charged on July 1 with one felony count of possession of child pornography. He is currently behind held in the Cook County Jail and is due back in court on July 25.
In March, federal law enforcement authorities contacted the Palatine Police Department regarding evidence recovered from a hard drive previously in the possession of a former Palatine resident. Following a thorough investigation by Palatine Police Detectives, Skora was identified as the person responsible for the possession of the device and the illicit material. Skora was taken into custody without incident on June 30.

The Palatine Police Department said it remains committed to protecting vulnerable populations and working with its law enforcement partners to investigate and prosecute crimes involving child exploitation.
