No D211 Students On Bus In Palatine Crash
The bus driver was taken to the hospital for observation following Thursday's accident.
PALATINE, IL — A bus for Township High School District 211 carrying no students was hit by another vehicle Thursday afternoon. The driver was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights for observation, a district spokesman told the Daily Herald.
According to the district, the bus was on its way back to Palatine High School when the accident happened near Northwest Highway and Baldwin Road, the report stated. The driver had just finished dropping off special education students, the report added.
It was unclear if anyone in the other vehicle was hurt.
