Palatine Council Maintains Ban on Alcohol Sales at Gas Stations
The Village Council takes a closer look at the liquor code.

The Village Manager’s Office reviewed the liquor code last week and recommended a few changes to the Council.
Several points were brought up to have a further policy discussion at a later date: hours of operation, hard liquor sales at drug stores and general merchandise stores, gas station liquor sales, modifying beer and wine licenses, seasonal liquor licenses, video surveillance, and changes to the license fee structure.
The liquor code was last reviewed and modified in 2006 and again in 2012.
