Palatine High School Craft Fair Returns Saturday, November 1

Don't miss all the holiday fun - free parking, free admission, over 200 vendors, refreshments for sale, school store open!

The Palatine High School Pirate Booster Club presents the annual Palatine High School Fall Craft Fair from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. More than 200 vendors are scheduled to participate in this year’s sold out event which will be held at Palatine High School, 1111 N. Rohlwing Road, Palatine.

Craft fair admission and parking are both free.

Crafts that will be available for purchase include gifts, jewelry, skin care, crochet, needlework, paper crafts, holiday décor, accessories, art, hand carved wood, candles, pet items, decorative glass, ornaments, wreaths, and more.

This annual holiday shopping event will once again include the vendor raffle table that allows attendees to pull lucky tickets from the treasure chest in a quest for a winner! The concession stand offering food and snacks for purchase will be staffed by the PHS Music Departments and Pirate Treasures, the Palatine High School spirit wear store, will be open as well with great gift ideas for the Pirates in your life!

In addition, Greener Good will be on site offering kids activities and they will also be collecting donations of new and used school, office and craft supplies.

People Helping People will return this year to help stock Comfort Closet items including donations of shampoo, toothpaste, hair brushes, new socks and underwear, laundry detergent and more.

This year’s event is being chaired by PHS Booster Volunteers Shelli Sarg and Debbi Carrier.

“The Fall Craft Fair is one of our largest fundraising events of the year,” said PHS Pirate Booster President Betsy Gharagozlou. “It’s a fantastic event that brings together the community to raise funds to support our students.”

“It takes many, many volunteers to run this event,” said event co-chair Shelli Sarg. “We are grateful for all of the support for this event and our school and can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Craft Fair on November 1.”

The craft fair is a fundraising event presented by the PHS Pirate Booster Club to raise funds to support mini grants at the school that benefit all students.

The purpose of the PHS Pirate Booster Club is to bring parents, faculty and the local community together to support students, organizations and activities at Palatine High School.
