Palatine Memorial Day Parade 2018: When, Where To Watch The Event
Along with Monday's procession, ceremonies will be held at Hillside Cemetery and two memorials.

PALATINE, IL — The American Legion Post 690's annual Memorial Day parade is set for Monday. The event also will feature ceremonies at the Veteran Memorial in Community Park and the Legion Memorial at Towne Square.
Before the parade kicks off, a service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28, at Hillside Cemetery on Smith Street, just north of Colfax Street. The parade begins at 10:15 am. at Cornell Avenue and Smith Street.
Color guards of the Legion, the Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion, community leaders, youth groups and members of the Palatine police and fire departments will be participating in the parade. The procession will march north on Smith, east on Robertson Street and south on Brockway, before finally moving east on Wood Street and ending at the Veterans Memorial.

Once at the memorial, a short program will be held at 11 a.m. That will be followed by another program at 12:15 p.m. at the legion's memorial at 150 W. Palatine Road.
